Terranostra Abruzzo

Terranostra considers Agritourism and Rural Tourism a harmonious whole of initiatives and cultural touristic agricultural and entertaining activities enhancing respect of the natural environment and the landscape and historical property of the rural world, the lodging potentialities expressed by the farmers and by the typical and natural products of the farms and the craftsmen; the association promotes the rural traditions and local cultures. This ay of considering the Agritourism leads to the building up of a new relationship between man-landscape, agriculture-tourism, farmers-consumers, town-country.

• The promotion of initiatives in order to favour the encounter of the cultural inter-change between rural and urban world;

• The organization of meetings, conventions, round-tables, up-dating courses, stages, agricultural and craft exhibitions, stand and sale points, folk festivals, tours, excursions, publications;

• The cooperation in activities concerning the defence of ecological environment, urban realities and rural communities;

• The promotion of researches and programmes leading to the agritouristic evaluation of the rural communities and their districts;

• The information and consultancy to the agritourits;
