AGRITOURIST promotes and coordinates the evaluation of the rural space concerning not only the production but also the cultural naturalistic and landscape aspects. The main aims of AGRITOURIST are:

The use of the old abandoned rural buildings as touristic lodgings; in so doing it protects the rural property. The farms offering agritouristic hospitality are not traditional economic activities like 5restaurants and hotels. Agritourism is made of human warmth, friendliness and an exchanging points of view among people who have a different way of living like town and countryside. Services like accommodation, food and entertainments are provided by selected farms.

AGRITOURIST operates at regional and national levels issues year by year “Guide of Rural Hospitality”.

Agritourism enrols: citizens fond of country life, of naturalistic problems, of enogastronomy sp that they can choose rural environment as a holiday place; farmers interested in evaluating completely the resources of their own farms so that they can devote themselves to agritouristic activities; people responsible of the territorial planning and of local administration, at different institutional levels, so that they can take into consideration and encourage the agritouristic development.
